Root Canals
Extraction is never the first option
It may seem strange to have your child go through the process of a root canal, when they’re going to lose all of their primary teeth anyway. However, it’s very important to maintain the structural integrity of their smile. That’s why it’s important to save their teeth whenever possible, as opposed to extracting them. It may prevent crooked permanent teeth, overcrowded teeth, or gap teeth.
Our highly trained staff is aptly equipped to handle the root canal of a small child. This, usually unnerving procedure, is handled with care so your child will be at ease the entire time!
If you think your child has a tooth that is decaying, please schedule an appointment with Collegeville Pediatric Dentistry or call us at 610.409.2599.
